I am a 2001 graduate of Mary G. Montgomery and a 2006 graduate of the University of South Alabama.  I have a degree in Secondary Education with a double major in Secondary Education and English. I am currently working on my Masters in Educational Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University.  


I began my teaching career at Citronelle High School in 2006. I also had the opportunity to do field experience at Leflore High School and Burns Middle School, and I student taught at Baker High School from January-May of 2006. I am proud to teach at Citronelle!  Go Wildcats!

Here at Citronelle, my responsibilities include the following: English Department Chairperson,  leadership team member, literacy team member, and senior class sponsor.

I am also a member of the following professional organizations: Alabama Education Association, National Council of Teachers of English, and International Reading Association.


I am married to Jeff Pippin, who is also a teacher at Citronelle High School.  We have one son, Tristan, who was born on October 4, 2010, and a daughter, Ansleigh Faith, who was born December 7, 2013.
